Comin' down the world turned over
And angels fall without you there
And I go on as you get colder
Or are you someone's prayer
And angels fall without you there
And I go on as you get colder
Or are you someone's prayer
--------
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you'll be with me
and you'll never go
Stop breathing if
I don't see you anymore
Throughout their relationship zac and Mia had been up and down like a yoyo on crack. They toyed with eachothers emotion since the night they both got ridiculously drunk in London and Mia shamelessly chundered all over Zacs vintage Ramones shirt. No one can say that they were made for eachother. The two could not be more different. Mia loved the high maintenance life that she and Robyn always dreamed of having. Now that her career as the bands publicist was going well, Mia's extravagant life never failed to amaze Zac. He enjoyed the simple things in life, like watching a movie with a Chinese take away and going to the beach to top up his Californian tan. However, the two balanced each other out.
'Babe, you going out tonight?' Zac said over his shoulder, he was playing a soft beat on his drums and noticed his girlfriend wearing a tight black dress with mortifying high heels.
'Yes WE are' Mia said with a slight hint of annoyance in her voice. 'Don't you remember? I made reservations at Olive Garden tonight. And afterwards there is a Launch Party for the new Marc Jacobs line. I told you all this, this morning!'
Zac turned his head and sighed. He desperately wanted a night in with just the two of them. Unable to have the stength to start an argument he got up from his stool and grabbed his wallet. Mia scanned him up and down.
''Your not going out dressed like that are you?' She studied his faded Beatles t-shirt and ripped jeans. No way was she going out with him dressed like that. She sighed as he shrugged his shoulders. 'I've laid out your best shirt and dress pants on the bed, be ready in 5' she went back to the mirror applying more blusher to her pure skin.
Zac hated dressing up for these pointless launch parties. He felt Mias shadow as she scans the room, mingling with A-listers.
'You know what Mia, I'm gonna sit this one out' he said in a disheartened exhale. He ignored his outfit on the bed and sat back against the head board switching Charlie Brown.
'But, I made reservations?' Mia said with sadness in her voice. It hurt her to think that Zac didn't want to spend the evening with her. 'Why can't you just spend one evening with me?!'
'Why can't we just spend the night in together?' Zac said not taking his eyes of the screen.
'Oh yeah, cause that's a lot of fun?' She said walking across the room to find her coat.
'Isn't it enough to just be alone with me, rather than being surrounded by fake snobs who don't even remember your name the next day?'
'I don't know Zac, maybe I'm sick of living your mediocre life! I have plans in my life that doesn't include staying in watching cartoons and eating take out!' Mia said her voice straining from the loudness of the tv.
Zac switched of the tele, and stood to his feet surprised he had any strength to do so.
'What is this really about Mia!?' He made his way towards her, her back towards him. His hands tenderly brushed the small of her back, moving a strand of hair away from her facing, lowering his lips to her neck. No matter how intense the argument, Zac always found a way to seduce her. But she had, had enough.
'Zac' she whispered 'I don't want to spend my nights in, with somoene who can't even admits that he loves me' Mia removed his hands from her waist, almost finding his sent unbearable to not snuggle into. He always had the faded smell of CK lingering on him which she found extremely hot. Zac sighed after taking in what she had just said.
'What do you want me to say Mia?' He started back towards the bed not taking his eyes of her. ' You want to push me into saying it? Do you want me to run!' His voice gradually becoming louder. Every word he said was like a burn to Mia's heart. She desperately wanted him to admit his love for her. From past experiences she always wore her heart on her sleeve and was adamant to never say the 3 words to anyone first. It may seem childish but behind her smiles and shining eyes, there was a sensitive woman.
'Fine. Go.' Mia said coldly and trying to hold back the tears. She turned to see his reaction and was surprised to see him smiling. 'What?' She asked confused.
'I love it when you get angry' he whispered jogging up to her and placing his lips on hers hoping she would respond. She did and placed her hands around his neck, tangling her fingers in his hair. She hated how he had a power over her. No matter how much she tried to block out their conversation she found herself replaying the words he said to her.
His kisses freely assaulted her body as he carried her to the bed. Zac could tell Mia was stiff and tense so to relax her he whispered 'I love what we have going here' this comment threw Mia off and she pushed Zac of her and replied 'but you don't love me' Zac dropped his head back on the pillow, putting his hands on his face and let out a massive groan.
'We've been together for 1 and a half years Zac. Do your feelings just cease to grow!' Mia picked up her dress that Zac had torn off her and slipped back into it. He watched as her slender body was being covered up by her LBD.
'I have strong feelings for you Mia, no one can deny that. What exactly do you want from me?' he said edging closer to her.
'I don't know what I want" she sighed 'I want something different than..this." She slowly turned towards Zac. His eyes glistened at the thought of something. 'Are you breaking up with me?' His voice was quiet and croaked as if he had lost his voice. He started shaking his head when he saw her head slowly nod with uncertainty. 'NO! You can't leave me! Your over reacting!' Zac said squatting in front of her trying to get in her eye-line.
'Am I?' She whispered as the tears welled up in her eyes. 'I'm tired of pretending everything is okay!' She said getting up and making her way to her closet, most likely to get her half unpacked suitcase. Zac reacted quickly and gripped his hand on her arm and tightened his grip when she strained away from him. ' Zac, let me go!' She yelled with tears streaming down her face. 'NO' she struggled harder. 'I SAID NO' and with that her hand struck his innocent looking face causing him to let her go. With his hand touching his burning cheek he gasped like a flamboyant woman. Never had he been slapped by any of his girlfriends. Mia stood there with her hand clasped around her mouth, shocked about what she had just done.
'Zac, I'm...sor..sorry" her quivering voice rung in his ears as he turned away from her. She quickly grabbed her suitcase, stuffed some clothes in without even thinking what she might need. She left within the minute that she had struck her boyfriend. Still in shock Zac made his way to the window and watched as Mia clambered into her range rover sport. Its black paint job shone in the sunlight as he watched her drive in the horizon
